What noobs are calling 'parentline' because their toddlers are abusing them!? "help meeee my 2 year old daughter keeps throwing her dummy at me and verbally abusing me, calling me names like stinkypants... please hurry and help me if she finds out I have called you who knows WHAT she may do!"

Hmmm where did that thread about lauren being pregnant go... :p

I know someone who would probably call that tbh. She's totally wet when it comes to disciplining her lad, always has been. He's gradually got more and more out of control over the years , watched it happen. It's now at the point where I've seen him slapping and kicking her and she just says to him "now that's not very nice is it?, please don't do it again", and that's it!
The dads just as bad, I've seen him get a good kick and do absolutely nothing about it.
Remember those Viz characters called 'Modern parents'?, it was probably written about these two.

I hate "parents" who are like that, they're on a slippery slope and it will just get worse and worse, maybe that's a gap in the market - a child slapping business, parents are so scared of getting done for abuse these days maybe I should hire myself out to go around slapping problem children. Could work. :P

Erugh, I hate news stories like this, such a horrible and pointless death. :(

Fucking awful death.

A friend of mine was killed by a train when we were 9 years old. He was hit full on in the face and driven over a bridge into a river. Shockingly, they say he died on the way to the hospital! But he'd have been completely unconscious. [hopefully - R.I.P Trevor :( ]

My mate took a school bus to the face, he lived but it fucked him up for a fair while.

What an excellent town name. "Cockermouth - she's soaking wet!"

Wow, cockermouth... flooding... cumbria... there's got to be a fair few jokes in there! ...I mean not for the victims, obviously, but for people from towns with normal names that aren't underwater.

I don't remember this (probably because I was 13 at the time). It seems quite obvious that the government killed him. I am of course always wary of the initial impression I get from stories in the media, you just can't know what twists they have given words to imply entirely new meanings.

Weird time to be posting.

Why did a scientist/doctor have anything to do with the Iraq war in the first place? But yeah he was probably assassinated.

How the fuck is this news? I didn't watch I'm a "celebrity" but who even gives a shit... its a fucking rat.... they're eaten for food or killed as pests all the time.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8397691.stm

"We were starting at nine o'clock in the morning and finishing sometimes at eight at night."

11 hour shift? boo fucking hoo, nobody is forcing Romanians to work in the UK, I've had the odd job where I've worked 12 sometimes 14 hours 7 days a week, if you don't like it then get a different job. Tossers.

I know, what's next? Man fined £300 for hitting spider with magazine? Ridiculous, people are such gays these days, its just like when I didn't slow down and hit a squirrel the other day (second one in a couple of weeks... right suicidal little bastards they are).

That's mental, if it was a family or friend I would absolutely batter the manager to within an inch of their pathetic life. What a fucking job's worth.

ok, so this week has started off really gay. Possibly a year in jail for killing a rat, and a lady who has a total of 4 minutes of new moon recorded on her phone going to court.

It was probably her sister who alerted the cinema staff!

"I'll show that bitch for hosting my surprise birthday party at a fucking New Moon screening"

This is a really nice story, makes me feel a bit gay saying that but whatever:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OZvrRM2M ... r_embedded

Saw it on Russell Howards good news, thought it would make a bit of a change from the usual stuff.

...

I mean he's probably a secret paedophile or murderer or something, but whatever [/cynicism resumed as normal]

Hate to bring it back to the norm here, but I can't stand people like that in shops. I don't want miserable fucks either, but just a nice person who does his/her job and lets me go about my day without unnessacery dile chit chat.
Over the top assistants like that drive me mad.

:D

He's very creepy if you ask me. I can't stand people like that in shops either, highly irritating, sorry, maybe it's the scrooge in me but I don't like shop assistants asking me personal questions. Am I having a nice morning? None of your fucking business creep, just pack the bag, give me my change and stop smirking at me or I'll make it a permanent facial expression!

Um ... Well done Nigel
