I don't have the beeb, or we can get it, but all snowy. Didn't see anyone mention it was upcoming in here, all you macho car-heads should have known well in advance :P

I did watch I'm a celeb' as a matter of fact, no babysham and apple tart and ice cream :D

I always watch first one to see what thrash is in it. Heard Jimmy White was in so had to see how he got on amongst them.

To be fair I probably would have put it on if top gear was on but didn't even realise it had started until this morning. I was too busy looking forward to Doctor Who all week.

Watched TG last night, it was alright, more of the usual really.

Also watched latest Dexter and Curb your enthusiasm. I'll miss those on monday nights once they're over.

Oh no ! Well hopefully next week's will be better then !

Speaking of Top Gear, I've just watched James May's Toy Stories, this episode was Scalextric, was pretty good.

New seson of Family Guy that EQ bought on DVD

I think my new favourite moment might be the Quagmire/Barry Manilow bit

Can't get along with Family Guy at all. It tries too hard to be controversial, gets very cringey. Jacky loves it, she used to watch it all the time but I think even she got a bit bored with it.

Quagmire just isn't funny. Ever.

What Cagey said. It still has it's moments, but they are a few and far between.

I grab Family Guy, Simpsons, American Dad and South Park for my animated comedy each week but the only one I actually watch is South Park. The rest just get piled up. Got at least 10 unwatched episodes of FG, S and AD to watch when there's a break in telly.

Cagey, I take it Bored to Death is over after 8 episodes? Really annoyed, I loved that show - hopefully it was a big enough hit for HBO for a 2nd series to be incoming

I went looking for it other day, never heard anything about it being over. Bit of an abrupt end to a season no? Just looked at their website, and from there the Facebook page. According to comments on that, there will be a season 2. Hope so.

Agreed, South Park is the only animated comedy that has been pretty consistent with its quality for years. The thing that pisses me off about Family Guy are the really long and drawn out flashbacks that they throw in which aren't funny at all, they feel like they are there just to pad out out episodes. American Dad and Black Guy Show (forget its name) are even worse.

The Simpsons back in its day was king though, everything about it was great.

I spoke to Jonathan Ames on twitter today, he confirmed there will be a second season but says it probably won't be on until Autumn next year :?

I do feel FG has dipped a little - but then, so did the Simpsons

Mav is right, SP is about the only one to consistently keep it up, but even that has the odd bum episode from time to time

Misfits, just watched the second ep, stumbled across it quite by accident and loved it!

I hadn't seen or heard anything about Misfits but after reading this thread I caught up with the first 2 eps. To begin with it felt like a british Breakfast Club which would have been good but that soon changed. I really enjoyed the first 2 eps, it did a good job of not going shit which it could easily have done.

I think it was better that I didn't know anything about it. So if you haven't, get it watched snd read nothing about it first.

Watched.

First off I thought 'Oh no, not that twat!' - the Irish actor, he was in a program I really hated a few years back called Foreign exchange, my eldest daughter used to watch it.

But once I got passed that I got into it, good stuff, definitely follw-up-able.
