Isn't that a movie too? better off recommending me something that hasn't been made into a movie yet, or I might cheat lol.

It has been aye, I never knew about it until I had already bought the book, but the cover says "also a feature film.." or something.

I'd recommend the Archer book then, as most of the other books I've read have been fantasy/sci-fi/etc

I've been reading 'The World According To Garp', I'm not far into it but I think it's been really funny so far. I would prefer to wait until I finished it before passing out recommendations, but I would make an exception in this case as it's been great.

The duchess - Actually a very interesting read, involves alot of politics, scandals and affairs.... probably why I enjoyed it so much.

I got my self an audible account, dam twit podcasts will sell me anything so I am listening to "what would google do". Its a really great book, business could learn a lot from it. Hope to get though a lot of books now that I would not have before using audible.

I finished 000, Republic Commando is just wow to me. Love it as much as I do the Halo books and have the next one sitting in the house ready to read although I am going to wait a wile and do the next Halo book first that's out in less than a week.

Is the new Dan Brown book any good as that's the next one I might go for on audible.

This, to me, sounds the most interesting book mentioned here in a while. And it's not a film! yay! I'll consider it.

Bit predictable in the end, but if you read it as a story and dont believe it all, then its ok!

After finishing the book I have to say that anyone who decides not to read it would be missing out. Big time.
Predictable is not something you ever think when reading this.

I'm going to have to read all his other books now. Its like my Terry Pratchett phase all over again, except Chuck is a lunatic.

I'm quite close to finishing this, and am already becoming nostalgic over it... I'm disappointed that it's ending :(

Should have that finished fairly soon, not too sure what I'll stray on to next.

Do you still have any of the books? My collection has 1 or 2 holes in it.. I would buy them off you.

Ah right... I would've been happy to do that in any other circumstanc, but I've got the whole collection less 3-4 books + his children's novels (which I'm not going to buy) so would like to buy those just for completeness sake. I need to get a book-shelf as well, I've got about 50 or so just now and they're just stacked up on top of my clothes drawer in a random pile.

I ended up getting Angels & Demons for my next audio book. Fucking great so far but I get the feeling I should think the Illuminati are the bad guys?

TO BE CLEAR I don’t want to
Spoiler (highlight to view):
blow up Vatican City

The new Halo book is good. That should last me a month or so, as I read slow. It’s good to get loads of short story’s. Then it’s onto the third RC book.

I should think so, according to the documentaries and youtube clips I've seen about them and the New World Order.
