New Moon - Yes its a bleeding "teen" film, but it sticks to the book nicely, the wolf pack look awesome and its half decent. Not going to win an oscar for best film, but if you liked twilight/the books, you'll enjoy this. And if you're female like 3/4's of the cinema were, you'll like the amount of topless Jacob/Edward in it!

Overall id say 8/10

My housemate is trying to drag me to see 2012, his girlfriend saw it and said it was "epic" but she sees and really enjoys every fucking film that comes out, no matter how shit.

Now go see a proper vampire film like Let the Right One In to make up for this travesty!

If you've seen the trailers and the 5 minute clip on Youtube then you've seen the majority of the best carnage (even the Aircraft Carrier hitting the Whitehouse isn't that good). The only thing that you need to see is the bit at Yellowstone - that was a pretty epic explosion. Aside from that though, it's all standard disaster-fare. I'd do an Orange Wednesday if I were you, and make your housemate pay.

The only reason I want to see this is to see how they shot the wolves (no pun intended) and to see dakota fanning play jane. Im sure she does it well.

Inglourious Basterds - 7/10 - maybe at a weee push there, I preferred some chapters to others and felt a few were drawn out a little. But good performances and, well, it's pure Tarantino, don't expect anything less/more.

The wolves look ace, and Dakota Fanning does ok, but is only in for about 10 mins

The wolves look better in the film than in the trailers? Because they look very tame (for werewolves) and the few transformation shots I've seen look like crap CGI. The wolves may look like wolves, but they don't seem to look like werewolves.

Bloody taming of the great screen monsters. It's sad, it really is. People used to be afraid of vampires. :(

Just watched The Notebook because the girlfriend wanted to, what a boring and depressing pile of shite.

Carriers - A bit like Zombieland, only without the humour or ... zombies. 2 guys, 2 gals heading to a beach to get away from the post-Avian flu wipe out. Along the way they become their own worst enemies.

It's ok, nothing special. there's one really badly acted scene but other than that the acting is fine. Just, not a whole lot happens. Average. 5/10

I've seen that advertised, looked like they were making it then the whole flu panic started to die down so they were like "fuuuuuuuuuck let's wrap this shit up and pwn it into the cinemas, go go go!"

Pretty much yeah. It's alright, but by the end it does actually feel like they made it up as they went along.

Law Abiding Citizen - 6/10

Good acting (Gerard Butler has picked up a better American accent this time; Jamie Fox is alright - unlikeable character though) and an interesting story, but it seemed to go a bit flat at the end.

Cloudy with a chance of meatballs - I like how this doesn't try to be clever, it even takes the piss out of it's own explanations for the over the topness. It's good fun, more so for adults than the kiddies, which is nice. Looks great too. Not the best animation film I've seen, but not lagging too far behind the better ones.

7/10
